Mousefur is a small, dusky brown she-cat, known for having a sharp tongue and a short temper.
History
Into the Wild
Mousefur participates in the battle between RiverClan and ThunderClan in the prologue. She is later the cat that helped prove that Spottedleaf was not killed by Yellowfang, by checking between Spottedleaf's claws for fur. She is known for having a sharp tongue and a short temper. She is initially hostile towards Firestar.
Midnight
She is Spiderleg's mentor and a senior warrior.
Starlight
She was on of the cats who was made ill from the tainted water given to her by Mothwing. Later in the book, she becomes and elder after Spiderleg's warrior ceremony. She makes it her job to lead Longtail around safely when he started losing his sight.
Twilight
Mousefur is hostile towards Daisy and her kits, though eventually warms up to them.
Sunset
Again, Mousefur isn't keen on having outsiders in the Clan when Stormfur and Brook join, yet she becomes friendly towards them eventually.
The Sight
Longtail continues to hint to Jaypaw about Mousefur's coughing during the night until Jaypaw realizes that she has the deadly greencough. Although she spreads the sickness around to other cats in camp (Whitewing, Ferncloud, Poppypaw), they all make full recoveries. She attempts to be kind to Jaypaw, but he does not return the friendliness. When Graystripe returns, Mousefur welcomes him back and gives Millie, his new mate, a nod.
Dark River
She was weaker than any cat after her greencough epidemic, but refused to admit so.
