History

In the Original Series

Into the Wild

Tallstar is mentioned, but does not appear in this book. It is later found out that he was chased out by Brokenstar and ShadowClan.

Fire and Ice

He is brought back into the forest by Fireheart and Graystripe.

Forest of Secrets

Tallstar became an ally of ShadowClan when they found out that Bluestar was sheltering Brokenstar in her camp. They raided the camp of ThunderClan, desperately trying to get to Brokenstar.

Dawn

Tallstar was one of the weakest cats on the journey, always leaning on one of his Clanmates for support.

It is revealed by Crowfeather that he is on his last life. He later dies his final time, and, instead of naming his deputy, Mudclaw, as leader, he makes Onewhisker into the new leader. Only Onewhisker, Firestar, and Brambleclaw were present, and they were the only ones to know that he did not use the proper ceremony.

Twilight

He was among the cats in StarClan who told Cinderpelt of her approaching death, and appeared only briefly.

Though, I'm ONLY putting in a redirect when the character acctually appeared in a book under that name (IE: Rusty, Firepaw, and Fireheart all point at Firestar's page, but a Bluepelt (or is it Bluefur?) page was never created to redirect to Bluestar).
