Cloudstar's Journey

Nettleclaw is on a patrol with Seedpelt at the border between ThunderClan and SkyClan. Seedpelt encounters Buzzardtail and Cloudstar, and while she discusses borders with the two SkyClan cats, Nettleclaw calls out to Seedpelt to ensure there's no trouble. After the SkyClan cats leave, Cloudstar mentions that ThunderClan had had set their borders too far into SkyClan territory. Nettleclaw participates in the SkyClan-ThunderClan battle. Nightfur, Weaselwhisker, and Acornpaw pounce on him, taking him down, but he leaps up quickly and attacks Acornpaw.

Nettleclaw participates in the battle against SkyClan over a strip of territory. When he returns, several kits succeed in getting him onto the ground and they scramble over him, asking excitedly about the battle and the SkyClan cats. He tells them that they aren't scary, but were very hungry, which in turn made them more dangerous. One of the kits tells him that he probably showed SkyClan who was the best, and Nettleclaw amusedly replies that he did.
